Dr. Shweta Godbole Postdoctoral Researcher – Cancer Bioinformatics & Multi-Omics Integration Research Focus:
Multi-omic data integration (proteomics, phosphoproteomics, transcriptomics, DNA methylation)
Biomarker discovery and therapy response in cancer
Minimally invasive diagnostics using plasma and extracellular vesicles (EVs)
CRISPR-based detection strategies for cancer biomarkers
Profile: Shweta Godbole is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in the integration of multi-omic data to understand cancer biology and develop precision diagnostics. She earned her PhD with summa cum laude for her work on medulloblastoma, where she led a landmark study identifying subtype-specific, targetable proteogenomic features. Her current research focuses on cancer diagnostics using EVs from plasma and CRISPR-based biomarker detection, in close collaboration with clinical teams across Dutch medical centers.
